Ahsanul Hafiz came to Canada from Bangladesh as an international student determined to build a better future through hard work and education. While studying mathematics at the University of Windsor, he supported himself delivering pizzas and quickly rose to become a manager. Today he owns 30 Domino’s franchises across Ontario, creating jobs and supporting local charities, schools, and youth sports. Now he wants to continue serving his community and help create new opportunities for others, which is why he is putting his name forward to be nominated as the Ontario Liberal candidate in the coming provincial by-election in Scarborough Southwest.

Having arrived in Canada as a student who worked while studying, he understands how hard families work to make ends meet. He wants to help ensure that the cost of living does not close the door on opportunity for the next generation.
Fix Youth Unemployment
His own journey began with a simple first job delivering pizza, which taught responsibility and opened the path to future success. He believes every young person should have the chance to get that first opportunity and build confidence for their future.
Invest in Education
Education helped him build a new life in Canada and develop the skills needed to succeed in business. He believes strong schools and accessible education will open the same doors for young people across Scarborough Southwest.
Lead with Integrity
The values of honesty, respect, and responsibility he learned from his parents continue to guide his decisions today. He believes public service should always be grounded in integrity and trust.
Enjoy Our Community
From supporting local sports teams to helping community organizations, he believes strong neighbourhoods are built when people come together. After working hard to build a life, families should have the chance to enjoy their community and the opportunities it provides.
